Highlander is one of those unfortunate franchises that wrote itself into the ground and then some
The hell you talking about? The 70's style wuxia fighting was really awesome and defeating a guy by making him drill himself into the ground is inspired.
Also this is pure shit.
Zardoz was a hilarious take on counter culture of the 70s.
Listing Connery's worst movies without mention of The Avengers and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is crazy.

In Highlander, as in life, always bet against the goth.
(Who coincidentally may actually be a Goth.)
Yes, that shitty matte painting type backdrop is supposed to be all the other planets in the solar system, having migrated that close to the earth.
Somebody online set this battle to Yakkity Sax and it worked pretty well.
Well that was wonderful. Do you think they'll retcon the franchaise all the way back to the first movie, or simply reboot the whole thing?
That looked about as bad as 90's video game cutscenes made with live-action footage.
Are they still suppose to be aliens?

I was such a Highlander fan at age 12. I didn't know there was anything made after Endgame, until now. But I don't care, and this is garbage.
Five stars for that.
You probably didn't know this existed because it was a Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie.
This crapfest was actually intended for direct-to-DVD release, got shelved by Lionsgate for like two years because it was so shitty, then finally aired on Sci-Fi/SyFy.
Another example of how utterly stupid this movie is: the main bad guy Duncan is fighting in this clip first appears wearing a big black face-and-neck guard thing that theoretically makes it impossible to cut off his head (OMG THE PERFECT HIGHLANDER VILLAIN), only to ditch it in the very next scene in which he appears.
The entire franchise is wisely being rebooted, with a couple of guys who worked on "Iron Man" writing the script and the guy who directed "Fast & Furious" directing.
Highlander and The Matrix receiving sequels are among the two greatest travesties every done to film.
