Was this the gay cowboy character? Or am I thinking of somebody else?
The Vigilante, who in his secret identity is a singing cowboy. God damn it, I see my tags got de-capitalized so it wasn't clear that "Vigilante" is a proper noun.

Maybe "singing cowboy" would be a more useful tag than "scalloped cape". Yes.

You're thinking of the reimagined Rawhide Kid Marvel published a few years ago. That's Vigilante from DC Comics.

Oh, the gay cowboy was The Rawhide Kid, over at Marvel Comics.

Vigilante: The superhero whose power is "Owns two revolvers".

Two revolvers AND a motorcycle.

Certainly better than the grim and gritty early 80's version, you know the District Attorney who would go out and intimidate thugs dressed in a black and white bodysuit, then slowly went crazy, became more and more violent, killed innocent people and then offed himself out of guilt.

"Let's do something exactly like Two-Face. Only, you know, not make him a baddie."

Here kid, catch!

Also, why do animators have such a hard time drawing guitars?
Have you ever actually seen a guitar?

Of course you haven't. No one has.

Busted. I say I do all the time, but I really haven't.

Someone needs to find the Superdickery episode and post it.
Here, for as long as it lasts:

This show is rapidly becoming my favorite Batman show.
Jet Bin Fever
It's pretty entertaining, yes, but the animation and character design is terrrrrible compared to the Animated Series. It lacks all that rich film noir quality too.
It's not trying to be TAS, it's trying to do its own thing. And it does that thing well.

The previous Batman show attempted to imitate TAS and ended up being one of the worst cartoons of its time.

The previous Batman show was founded on the belief that Alfred's head was a lima bean.

This is easily the second best Batman cartoon there's ever been. I just wish they'd played the ultimate Geek Card and gotten Nathan Fillion to reprise the role of Vigilante from Justice League Unlimited. He does sing of course, he sung in that episode of Venture Brothers last year.
