He got big in the 1980's playing the accordion to outdated songs. At what point do you think he was not deliberately anachronistic?

While I haven't enjoyed his most recent albums as much as his previous ones, I'm still an Al lover. I think his act is suffering because of the decline of the modern music industry.
His Michael Jackson covers got old. Everything else he's done is timeless.
Weird Al is timeless in the sense that he targets children, and there will always be a new generation of children.
