Bingo bingo BINGO!

Stupid comment aside, this is the most boring formulaic show that ever blew my mind with its last couple of episodes.
Toenails - 2013-08-06
And here's the stars...

Gmork - 2013-08-06
Three stars for the only three good episodes of big O.

garcet71283 - 2013-08-06
Its Batman with mechs, you shut your stupid face.

Mother_Puncher - 2013-08-06
It started out formulaic for a reason but dropped that in favor of a story arc and is still one of the only animes I like

MrBuddy - 2013-08-07
You forgot, there's a LOT of Blade Runner in this show too

namtar - 2013-08-06
A japanese version of Batman with an intro song by a japanese version of Queen? What's not to like?
eatenmyeyes - 2013-08-06
I was about to comment that it reminded me a lot of Flash.

cognitivedissonance - 2013-08-07
This show exists because of Batman. The Mr. Freeze origin episode was so expensive to produce it put Bandai Animation out of business temporarily, and animation went to another firm. The artists were reassembled later and this is what they came up with.

(Specifically it was the frost inside Mr. Freeze's helmet, which was airsprayed by hand by the head of the firm, and it was absurdly overwrought. The frost was never in another Mr. Freeze episode.)

And the award for most boring anime series to ever air on Toonami goes to.................

Tenchi Universe
Xenocide - 2013-08-06
Clearly someone's forgotten about DICE.

That's okay, though. Everyone forgot about DICE. It was just that boring.

SolRo - 2013-08-06
Not joking, have no idea wtf dice is.

Mother_Puncher - 2013-08-06
Anything Tenchi is the most anime thing ever. IM A GUY WHO LIVES WITH BUSTY WOMEN I CANT BANG AND ONE IS CAT FROM SPACE

SolRo - 2013-08-06
I really enjoyed the OVA episodes, everything else goes from bad to war crime

Nikon - 2013-08-07
The OVAs are classics. Dodge everything else like it's danmaku fire.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-08-07
Ryo-ohki was the Derpy Hooves of her time.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-08-07
Also, I remember DICE, and the correct answer is still ZOIDS.

Gmork - 2013-08-07
It's insulting to even compare bad anime to garbage like my little pony.

EvilHomer - 2013-08-07
Read it and weep, G-dork.

The only good animes of the 00s were Gurren Lagann, Ikki Tousen, and Afro Samurai. Discuss.
SolRo - 2013-08-06
one of those doesn't belong

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-08-07
Don't even try to pretend that Nanoha doesn't belong on that list.

Also, Renkin San-kyuu Magical Pokaan.

ashtar. - 2013-08-07
Caminante really liking an anime is usually a good indication that I'll hate it. Hey wow magical girls

Maru - 2013-08-07
God you're a fool. "Ikki Tousen"

The God of Biscuits - 2013-08-07
Death note was cool.

sosage - 2013-08-07
There's no room in your cold, dead heart for Cowboy Bebop...FLCL...Trava...Redline...Dead Leaves...?

EvilHomer - 2013-08-07
Cowboy Bepop was the 90s. There are plenty of good animes from the 90s.

Anime started to suck once Rumiko Takahashi sold out and dumped Ranma for that Inuyasha poser shit. Everything from the first US airing of Inuyasha on down was just plain stupid and awful, which on an unrelated and totally coincidental note, happened to occur around the time I turned 18.

asian hick - 2013-08-07
Samurai Champloo was pretty good, as was Paranoia Agent. Fullmetal Alchemist had its moments.

Mother_Puncher - 2013-08-06
They give away some pretty big spoilers in the opening credits. How am I supposed to be shocked by girl being an android now?
Cherry Pop Culture - 2013-08-07
*Epic Beard Time* I am currently re-watching the entire series and this intro was not used until the third episode when things went in motion.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-08-07
I don't think Adult Swim ever fully forgave their fans for not supporting this series.
SolRo - 2013-08-07
I could only watch the show twice a day, what more could I have done?

memedumpster - 2013-08-07
They got two seasons, which is one season longer than it usually takes for an anime to start to suck. I call that downright daring support.

I loved this show.
