I was using IE10 for quite a while because it had to be installed and I try to keep the number of installed programs I have to a minimum and it wasn't bad. But then it just locked up whenever I tried to save an image, so I got fed up and moved to Chrome. It's way, way better.

Opera > Chrome > Firefox > Netscape Navigator > CompuServe Information Manager > Internet Explorer

EvilHomer - 2013-11-10

What's the deal with Chrome? I've experimented with Chrome a few times, but I never inhaled, and I didn't really like it.

Is there something I'm missing?

Hooker - 2013-11-10

You can highlight text and right-click to search it in Google and right-click on pictures to Google Image Search it. Also, on a new tab, it puts all the bookmarks on the screen. Otherwise, it's like every other browser.

glasseye - 2013-11-11

Firefox can do the first and last of these things.

baleen - 2013-11-11

Chrome isn't bad.
It's the only browser that has never been hacked. It's safe and usually pretty fast.

Everything you do on it can be integrated with gmail so that you can always access your history and bookmarks, even if all your hardware disappears.

I have gotten accustomed to newer versions of Safari for a few reasons, but I think Chrome is the best browser I've used other than that.

Hooker - 2013-11-11

For whatever reason, FireFox keeps crashing explorer.exe on me. I blame that on Windows 7 and not FireFox, but that's rather academic.

Old_Zircon - 2013-11-11

So do any of these browsers have gesture based control yet? Because I've been enjoying that in Opera for at least 5 years now.

EvilHomer - 2013-11-11

Whoah, wait, Hooker, izzat true? Are you sure it's Firefox? Because I've been having lots of trouble with explorer.exe.

In fact, I just got off a TEN MINUTE LONG APP HANG, which is by far the worst app hang I've ever experienced since this bullshit started a few months ago. Literally, just got off it, had to do a hard reboot and everything. Talk about eery timing... My AV-Mlaware sweeps never return a thing, and I was about to go looking for some more answers; if Firefox might be the culprit, that would save me a lot of time.

EvilHomer - 2013-11-11

I really hope it's not Firefox. I can't migrate over to Chrome, on account of the fact that Google has replaced Microsoft as my second-most-hated tech company, and I can't use IE, because come on. I use Opera on my smartphone, and it's great (aside from the TOR compatibility issues) so maybe Opera?

Hooker - 2013-11-12

It's not FireFox specifically, no. It does happen with a few other programs, but none I use regularly, so I can't remember which ones. FireFox does it constantly, though. IE and Chrome have never done it.

Makes a bit more sense than those ads with Jerry Seinfeld.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-11-10

In the third episode, her heard gets bitten clean off by a giant, serpentine fox.

EvilHomer - 2013-11-10

DUDE. If Microsoft actually made an official, full-scale IE-tan anime series, I would totally use the fuck out of their terrible web browser.

Xenocide - 2013-11-10

She had to open multiple windows to kill all the monsters. Hasn't anyone told her about tabs?

Oktay - 2013-11-10

Next episode: IE teams up with Bingtrollbar, an irritating troll type creature, and together, they battle that devil character from the cover to Holy Diver.

Oktay - 2013-11-10

of! of Holy Diver! bah.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2013-11-10

At the end, I was expecting her to say "DID YOU RIKE IT?" like Hideo Kojima.

Quad9Damage - 2013-11-11

So were all the robots and the big demon thing at the end supposed to be malware and malicious scripts? It didn't look like she really won at the end.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-11-12

Arg.
