Rodents of Unusual Size - 2014-07-14

I've never seen this. How exactly does his Bruce Willis online profile help him solve crime?

infinite zest - 2014-07-14

According to the Wikipedia (which appears to have been written by a 12 year old) Beuno communicates with the spy organization via CGI Bruce so they won't discover he's a kid.

But if your reality exists of badly drawn and animated characters, wouldn't a cgi-anything not only be more suspicious?

infinite zest - 2014-07-14

(Speaking of 12 year olds, I blame my phone!)

Xenocide - 2014-07-14

The Wiki article also reveals that the spy agency has agents who meet with Bruno in person, but just assume that the guys at headquarters know he's a 12 year old and are okay with it. So his livelihood rests on these people never communicating with their bosses. It's ironclad!

To be fair try working for Landmark Cinemas or the Human Rights campaign. I could've been an anthropomorphic slug who drives race cars or Fred Phelps himself and Mark Cuban and Chad Griffen would've never known.

The wikipedia article was a deciding factor for me when I voted this up - I'm glad someone else noticed!

Oh my god, I didn't think I could cringe that hard. I think I pulled something.

Xenocide - 2014-07-14

The one thing I remembered about this show was how cheap and thrown-together its opening sequence was.

ashtar. - 2014-07-14

Is that Bruce singing?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-07-14

He's released three albums in his career:

1987: The Return of Bruno
1989: If It Don't Kill You, It Just Makes You Stronger
2001: Classic Bruce Willis: The Universal Masters Collection

I'm sure you have them somewhere and just forgot about them.

I was at a Planet Hollywood in New York City when I was checking out NYU and Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson made an appearance and sang a few songs together. I don't know which was worse, the food or the singing.

oh god i'd completely forgotten about this terrible show.

It's amazing how they already had Bruce Willis working on the show but they decided it was easier to render his head in CG than to just, you know, film him while he read his lines in front of a green screen or something. They could have even used makeup effects to make it look like a computer animation if they really wanted to (like in Max Headroom).

dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-07-14

Ah yeah, I remember this. It was on UPN with all the other boring weekday morning cartoons that no one was home to watch, which was strange since they advertised it to hell and back, and every commercial announced loud and proud "FEATURING THE VOICE OF BRUCE WILLIS!"

My aunt, who was in her early 40s at the time, unabashedly loved anything with Bruce Willis involved, and would actively watch this terrible cartoon because of it.

Rangoon - 2014-07-14

I actually have a few episodes of this on VHS.

IIRC, Mark Hamill voiced some annoying
Jerry Lewis-type character named Larry.

That's about all I have to say about this show.

Rangoon - 2014-07-14

No, wait. His name was Harris.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-07-14

The only thing I know about this show is that I would occasionally see an ad for it during Sailor Moon or Samurai Pizza Cats.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2014-07-15

I think I saw part of an episode of this on some third-run Mexican TV station while waiting for them to air Magic Knight Rayearth and Captain Tsubasa.

What I'm saying is that the whole gimmick was lost when dubbed in Spanish. As for CGI!Bruce, my guess is that with Willis throwing money like dodgeballs at a fat kid, the producers at Film Roman wanted a chance to play around with the fancy photo-realistic CGI equipment that would later be incorporated in such fine artistry as Carmen Electra in Tripping the Rift.

-1 star because singing Bruce literally hurt my ears.
