I love how this website finds stuff I’ve been meaning to watch, but have been too lazy to look for

Occasionally it feels like my history tab and I'm not mad at it

Spoiler summary:

Scott Adams spent his developmental years thinking he was a special boy, exempt from the limitations that kept others down, for winning runner up in an art contest his mother tried to tell him lots of kids entered so don't give your hopes up.

This was compounded further by being THE art kid in his tiny class of 30, cementing in his mind that he's the smartest guy in the room.

Left his privileged upbringing to enter a privileged workplace, when companies still paid for your masters degree. He thought this would make him an automatic pick for promotion. Claims that his boss told him he would have gotten the promotion, but diversity quotas meant they have to give the higher management position to a black man. This is obviously bullshit from one of the parties.

Has to have some kind of experimental operation in the mid 00s, which left him unable to talk for 2 years, claims it left him socially isolated. This can't have helped his social well being.

Buys into every "The Secret" self affirmation flim-flam in the book.

The above period marks his hard turn into bigot town. Claims he had to give up his day job to do Dilbert full time, not because it was more money and fame for less work, but because they were going to give his job to blacks anyway. Claims the Dilbert tv show was canceled because UPN wanted to focus on black audiences, making it his 3rd job that blacks stole.

And worst of all, founded the "Dilberito".

He acts like the corporate world is full of black diversity hires, yet didn't have a black character in his comic until last year.

And when some newspapers dropped his strip for it, he claimed it was because the character was black... not mentioning that the character identified as being white, in a gag meant to discredit genderqueer people.
