This is pretty interesting, but it gets a little cooler:
"WHAT MAKES PEOPLE VOTE REPUBLICAN?"

It also works in reverse as a contemplative tool to undo some of the unconscious tendencies we have toward blindness when dealing with the full stratum of human beings.

Cena_mark - 2008-10-11 That article is lame. Its just something liberals wrote to make other liberals feel good about being stupid. A working class man voting Republican is not voting against his own interests. Its not as though the Democrats are going to stuff money in his pockets. The Democrats will work in the interest of welfare broodmares, while the working man sweats. It is in the working man's self interest to vote Republican because giving tax cuts to the rich will provide more jobs to the working man. When you look for a job you don't go to lower and middle class people you go to rich people. The achievers they carry our society. And the Liberals punish them for their success and service to this country.

You only read the first paragraph didn't you? You didn't read the fucking article, you idiot. You are such a moron, and don't bring your conservatism into it, because many conservatives actually read.
If you had read it, you would see that it actually pays conservatives a pretty big compliment. But you didn't, and you won't, because you are a boring, humorless, dumb faggot. The end.

Cena_mark - 2008-10-11 Gayleen, Your childish name calling is the reason why we can't have intellectual discussions.

You have proven over and over again that you are just here to masturbate. I don't put any time into your endless series of tired trolling. You did not read the article. You made a comment on the article. It was a stupid comment meant to get a rise out of people. I rape your mother. She cries.

Okay, that's just entirely too clever. I can't help but wonder if there's some built-in bias due to them always presenting the conventional pairing first, though - wouldn't that only help to reinforce the bias in the near-term memory?
|
fluffy - 2008-10-11 Okay I just took some tests myself. The only bias I could really detect was how "bad" is always on the left hand and "good" is always on the right. Also it says I have a moderate preference for gay people.
|
CharlesSmith - 2010-08-03 Yeah I'd take this test more seriously if they did the different associations on different days, not one after the other. They're training you to do something one way then expecting you to immediately do it another. That's tricky by itself, and has to be corrupting the fuck out of their data.

to take the test yourself, go to:
http://www.understandingprejudice.org/iat/index2.htm
I got slight racial bias and heavy gender bias even though I espouse equality and shit. yeah, I admit it.
|
Cena_mark - 2008-10-11 The test said I have no strong preference to any race.

Imus is sometimes funny, Alda is never funny.
Enough said.

erratic - 2008-10-11 ....cause this clip is totally about the laughs, amirite?

Keefu - 2008-10-11 Alan Alda is such a damn good class act. He's like that older dude who lives down the block in your neighborhood. He's not required to be funny or edgy, he's that cool and wholesome.

Nibbles - 2008-10-11
The tests says I am a feminist, but I hate the blacks. Which brings up the questions.
Why do I subconsciously hate the blacks? Would I hate a black feminist or like them?

Keefu - 2008-10-11
I remember I used to watch this show when I was 12 or so. Alan Alda could get a kid pumped up for science.
