I think in this case, principles is also correct. Also this principal is most certainly NOT their pal.
Teenagers need no encouragement to ham it up, so why this principal agreed to have his office filmed is insane. It probably keeps him more in line, though. I can't imagine him being that tolerant and calm if the cameras weren't on him.
In the principal's defense they were getting kind of off-task there, even if they were among men.
I'm just glad real life has caught up to sitcom standards.
