Also, this guy is so ridiculously fortunate. Tail rotor must've been two meters or so away. For all the good that ducking and dodging would've done him if he was hit, going overboard mightn't be the best of ideas either, in pitching choppy seas; it looks cold as fuck too. Nice going prone on almost-cuisinart'd guy though.
The Townleybomb They need to get Hog away from those things once and for all.
Hooper_X Heh heh. He just bought this thing and he ain't got no flight time in it yet.
kennydra I too believe this is a dupe. At very least, it's an old vid.
I probably would have jumped into the ocean if I were that guy.
bopeton I don't think it's an oil rig. Looks like the fantail of a ship.
SolRo it's a very small and short oil rig, that's moving
baleen some people have crappy tags, but I do remember this one on here.
Camonk Your dad's old but we still got like fifty hundred comments about how he's awesome.
OgreMkIV I submitted this and it never made it out of the hopper.
From what I remember, it's a Greenpeace ship with a leased helicopter. If you do a search on the tail number (N480KP), it seems they never bothered to report the incident or obvious tail rotor damage to the FAA or the chopper owners (a leasing company). Way to go, environmental responsibility!
