I love when the submitted user's name makes the lack of a description tell a strange story.

With a catchy theme song.

The original title for this show was "Puppet Hands Picking Things Up: Special Victims Unit."

I wonder if those fake paws were made from an actual taxidermied kangaroo.
Dr Dim
Yes they were. I vaguely remember seeing them on display when I was a kid at the wildlife park where they shot the show. It was shut down about ten years ago now because the animals were starving.

One thing they don't show in this is Skippy talking to one of the kids, who could understand him. Since kangaroos don't really make any noise normally, they would dub over this kind of clicking noise which sounded like morse code, then the kid would say "What's that Skip? Jewel smugglers at Donovan's Pass?" and the day would be saved.

Yeah! My god I need to watch this show.

Skippy has potential but skippy is no Boomer the Dog (the TV star)

I'd watch a show about a grumpy alcoholic kangaroo who hops up and punches people outta nowhere. I think that was a live kids show in the 80s.
