Caminante Nocturno
There was this weird phenomenon where a large portion of the SCTV cast got their own Saturday morning cartoons in the early 90's that I've never been able to find an explanation for.
Rape Van Winkle
I didn't have any TV because I spent the whole early 90's at Camp Candy.

Caminante Nocturno
With a sense of humor like that, you would've slayed them back at Gravedale High.

Tread carefully when walking by Maniac Mansion.

Kobe Van Winkle: You wasted your childhood on that shitty cartoon?

Rape Van Winkle
Yes. And thank you for acknowledging my fine marbled flanks.

Absolutely loved this show as a kid, mostly for Count Floyd.
cognitivedissonance
There was a time in the early 90s when all cartoons sounded as if they had been voice recorded underwater. Hanna-Barbera must've been toying with some weird sound production at the time, because it carried over to Pirates of Dark Water too.
Plan B
Imagining this bizarre time in the 90's carrying forward to modern times is an interesting gedankenexperiment.

"The Flippin' Sweet Adventures of Napoleon Dynamite," anyone?

snothouse
Yeah, don't worry:
