I hate to 5 star current SNL, but this made me laugh. Nervous laughter, but laughter nonetheless.

Immaculate start, shitty ending when Kenan opens his mouth. Still a 4.
RomancingTrain - 2011-01-18
I'm glad the one funny skit they do a year ends up here.

Most of this had me in tears but the last bit was stretching it a little much. Impressive for SNL.

Wow. So this is why child actors disappear when they get older.

Still, fine sketch.
Screwtape - 2011-01-22

It happened to Anthony Michael Hall...

This is a lot better than actually having to sit through a whole episode of SNL in order to find the few rare golden bits hidden in the sludge.
Mancakes - 2011-01-18
95% of that was pure gold. Then they took the joke 6 seconds too far.

The Merryville singers are nightmare fuel, but the writers didn't really know how to write a sketch around them. They could have had Keenan continuing to see them do disturbing things while his girlfriend wasn't looking, but they didn't go that route.

Bill Hader is unsettling.

It should have had a break shortly after the girlfriend leaves. And when the mechanic comes back there are four Maryville automatons.

Bort - 2013-02-08
Perhaps the "plot" of the sketch should have been about something else, with the Merryville Brothers as just a disturbing bit of window dressing. Maybe Christopher Walken introducing us to his new amusement park, where you'll be greeted by the Merryville Brothers when you enter and when you leave.

perfect use of Carrey but wow the execution was really sloppy, come on SNL, die or just do something right for once

I live in Maryville and have brothers, but we are not robots.
MongoMcMichael - 2011-01-18
That's what you want us to think.

No me gusta. No me gusta para nada.

Despite being a crazy anti-vaxer (or because of it?) Jim Carey's still got it.

Every decade they get something right.

I just don't know.
Bort - 2013-02-08
There is some segment of the audience for whom the most disturbing thing is the interracial couple.
