Anyone want to bet that all the soy sauce they poured on that turd had fish oil in it.
Fucking white people.
Also, this guys lisps...
Most soya sauce doesn't have fish oil in it...
I REALLY wanted to see one of them take a big ol bite out of that ginger root... and then cry.

That's some foul faux fowl.
I'm a vegetarian and even I found this a lame rip-off.
It's like Christian rap, basically.

So peanut butter is bacon for vegans?
I'm vegan, non-allergic and I don't keep peanut butter anywhere near my pantry. This casserole is so repulsive that I seriously doubt the actors' bonafides.
They missed some way better jibes: "seitan...Seitan...SEITAN" (cue split-second candlelit flesh)
Addenda: tofu is a poor meat analog. Muscle texture is formed by parallel aligned protein. The better analogs use seitan (the result of kneading grain dough in running water, which carries away starch but leaves strands of gluten) One can buy just this portion as vital wheat gluten (I've no idea why it's vital, sounds like marketing-speak).
There are great Thanksgiving seitan recipes about.
I'd like to see EMT's price tag per meal vs VMT's. If I had the money, I'd be vegan but I also hate going to the store every 3 days and vegan staples go bad quickly. It was like that when I was a vegetarian.
Vegan diets can be about 1/3rd the cost of omni if you eat like the 5/6th of the world who eat a mostly vegan diet. Dried beans and white rice last years. Brown rice lasts a year refrigerated. I've some 5 year old wakame and nori about that are holding up too.
Avoid Whole Foods and other health boutiques, and ersatz meat/milks. Find your local East Asian grocer (South Asian is welcome, but tend to have limited fruit/veggies locally). Learn to cook a mean dal in 30 mins.
Where are you getting the statistic that 5/6ths of the world maintains a vegan diet?
This is why I'm not a vegan. That and the whole omnivore thing.
So I'm the only one who got that they're joking? Come on, guys. I know they don't get enough nutrients for proper brain functioning, but there's no way anybody could eat that.

Not at all appetizing.
But hey, neither is Epic Meal Time.
So good job, I guess.
