Technically cool, but she lost me at the faux-ethereal-generic-female-vocals that basically every "indie" girl artist does nowadays.
Kind of agree, and to me they didn't mesh well with the song. Still kind of a good job.
Ani DiFranco called, she said she's going to kill you.

Check it out, that's a girl.
With a guitar and everything.

The song doesn't suit her. Also the one person band gimmick doesn't impress me.

She's mastered Enya's recording technique, aside from the fact that Enya has someone push all the buttons for her.

Music For Stoned People.
That is probably why I liked it more than everyone else.

Dunno, I think I like it. It isn't supposed to sound like the original. It's it's own style. It's done pretty well, and her voice is pretty decent. Gets my stars.
And for all your "loop" haters... You do realize that most music done today is recorded this way, right? They don't sing the chorus three different times. They sing it once, and then loop it back so that it sounds exactly the same. I don't see the basis for the hate. It's perfectly legitimate way to record a song by yourself.

The Loopstation really is a fun pedal.

being downvoted by people who can't do anything nearly this cool

Sorry. The bass line is the whole point. Playing it on keyboard is heresy.

I would marry the shit outta this girl.

All of that expensive equipment and she only does covers? I'd like to have rich parents too.
