Did not disappoint.

"I just wanted to make people happy." You just succeeded, sir.

I'd buy Pat Collins a Tom Collins.

Oh come on, everyone knows the grape is the black guy.
Grape = grape soda = black people, maybe? I don't know.
I thought it was orange soda. I don't know anymore.
I also assumed it was a Fruit of the Loom reference. They've consistently had a black guy in the purple grape costume for 30+ years.
This being the Internet, I just went the most racist route I could think of.
Yeah, Fruit of the Loom reference. Maybe most folk here too young to remember those commercials.

Well that's my morning off to a good start.
Oh, somebody want to go find 'Free Banana Man' and get it up on 73Q?
|freedoom - 2011-11-08 |
There's always money in the banana stand.

Fox News needs to hire this guy to clean up their image.

It should be obvious that a school named "Colonial Forge" probably would not have a sense of humor.
|Grandmaster Funk - 2011-11-08 |
"Disruptive and disrespectful." Favorite catchwords of joyless high school administrators looking to crack down on something--anything--to justify their drab and miserable existence.

He broke the rules and got punished. Move on. If i had gone there and done the same thing I would have been removed from the school's property and possibly arrested. He needs to take his lumps and deal with it.
Also, oblig. AD: "I guess it would just be a guy who, you know, grabs bananas and runs. Or a banana that grabs things. I don't know. Why would a banana grab another banana? I mean those are the kind of questions I don't want to answer."

This was great.

Pat Collins is my new platonic man crush.

Americans take highschool football pretty seriously I see.
High school football *halftime*. More sacred than education itself. Doesn't beat college football, though, which is apparently worth a few little boys getting raped.
America's strategy for encouraging excellence in nerds is based around making them think that dumb jocks are the most important asset in America and that they will never have any friends. This leads nerds to the "I'll show you mentality" as they obsess over their nerdy talents to prove they're better than the jocks.
Revenge of the Nerds is of course just one piece of government propaganda to perpetuate this cycle.

The kid slipped up.
This just feels like another case of yellow journalism.
This whole situation seems pretty fruity to me. I think he's still a little green, if you ask me.
