So, what JAV category should I be filing this under? Cosplay, zako ryona, Giantess, or crush?
betamaxed - 2014-09-11
So... a young woman goes insane, commandeers a giant robot and uses it to commit acts of mass murder. This clip was horrifying.
Caminante Nocturno - 2014-09-11
My father's village in the old country was crushed under an adorably dizty giant robot, so this video is really triggering.

TheOtherCapnS - 2014-09-12
Birds were talking.
One bird said to Masumi Inou, "Poo-tee-weet?"

YELLOW RANGER HAS NO HONOR!
Caminante Nocturno - 2014-09-11
That's a major design flaw in that steering wheel. You can't blame Natsuki for that.
Oscar Wildcat - 2014-09-12
Toyota recalled all of that years megazords but this one apparently wasn't taken in to the shop....

Scrimmjob - 2014-09-11
Why the fuck does that giant robot have a steering wheel?
yogarfield - 2014-09-11
You know a better way to drive it, Mr. Smart Guy?

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-09-11
Women, right?

Natsuki, you moron!

I'm not super versed on this show. I watched it a couple times as a kid, and when I went to Japan I was like "oh hey it's like Power Rangers but kinda different.." anyway, in the American version didn't they kill off Blue completely because he quit the show due to the producers' and fellow actors' homophobic remarks? Or he went back to his home planet? I can't remember. I think they used the same footage for the battles, just set it in High School USA. Assuming it aired a few years earlier, what happened to the Blue guy in the Japanese one?
Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2014-09-11
I don't think they killed off the blue ranger but wouldn't be surprised if they curtailed his role given that the green ranger is a devout Christian who subscribes to a very fundamentalist and "manly" interpretation. As far as Japanese sentai goes - they all exist in their own universes so it work the same way as the (more or less) connected American universe.

Scrimmjob - 2014-09-11
I seem to remember something similar happening in Voltron. Didn't the blue guy in that get trapped in a cave for half the series?

Bort - 2014-09-12
The Voltron thing went like so. In the original Japanese, Sven (whatever his name was, maybe Suwen-san) was killed off early, and his identical brother showed up later in a cave. In the American version, Sven was injured but not killed off, and was recuperating in a ... hospital cave? Something.

American Voltron had more people swearing vengeance after the bad guys killed nobody and destroyed nothing.

According to the Power Rangers Wiki, Blue's departure from the show was a variation on going back to his home planet (it was actually the home planet of his girlfriend). However, it's worth noting two things. First, the Blue Ranger position wasn't actually retired; after the original Blue left, they passed the color on to a new Blue Ranger. All in all, there seems to have been something like a dozen different Blue Rangers over the entire franchise. Second, the original Blue, Billy Cranston (who was apparently named after Bryan Cranston) was actually the longest serving member of the original team, and second longest serving actor in the entire franchise (spinoff actors included). By the time Billy Cranston left, all the other original Rangers had been long since written off the show and replaced with new characters.

And yes, according to DuckDuckGo, the actor had some major behind the scenes beef with everyone over his gayness. I don't believe this was why he left, but it is why he refuses to appear at any reunions.

kingarthur - 2014-09-11
Aside from the serious flaw in the steering, why would Natsuki even need the other rangers?

Insert Asian woman driver joke here
duck&cover - 2014-09-11
That robot is knock-kneed. Also, Yellow Ranger, aren't you going to let your team mates clear the area before you start pounding and stomping?
Oscar Wildcat - 2014-09-12
Counterpoint: Frag those bitches, Yellow Ranger! You don't need them anymore, that's for sure.

Gmork - 2014-09-12
That's the first time I've seen putties get owned by actual horrible stompings and punchings. It's always them getting hit on their chest and sparks flying out.
oddeye - 2014-09-12
They aren't Putty Patrol you dumb bitch. Go get squashed by a falling Megazord.

EvilHomer - 2014-09-12
Rita Repulsa is gross and dumpy looking, but Natsuki is pretty cute.

Discuss.

oddeye - 2014-09-12
Rita is in no way dumpy, bitch. Look at her face for fuck's sake. Regardless, you can like them both I suppose.

Kabbage - 2014-09-12
Not exactly Ranger of the Year

I find it racist that the only identifiable Asian in this video is the "yellow" Ranger.
