Other than being a reasonably sane urban Canadian, this is the main reason I wouldn't want a gun in my household.
I haven't see the video (at work) but to echo jfcaron_ca's point.
I have my gun license, both classifications we have in Canada. I love target shooting at a friends cottage with his 22. It's hella fun.
But I know myself well enough to not own one. Emotions makes one irrational and guns are near instant and irreversible. It's a risk I'm not willing to take no matter my diligence.
for some people the difference between living and suicide can depend on if a gun or booze is easier to access.
im probably one of those people

Looking ever more likely as Trump inches closer to declaring himself president for life.

Take away suicides and gang violence and guns don't kill very many people yearly in peacetime countries.
Only 1,300 kids get killed by guns yearly.
Something something BUT CARS!!!
Not sure why you're singling out only kids - cars and guns kill everyone equally. I guess you're unable to make an argument without moving some goalposts. Not surprising.
because guns and cars aren't equivalent, but you keep trotting that out whenever anyone points out how many people die for no reason whatsoever other than for the sake of making some effeminate cowards feel manly and safe.
Guns aren't cars aren't equivalent. That's true.
One is designed to kill people, and the other murders more people each year than the former.
You know - the one with all the safety features that's constantly being used recklessly on every street, avenue, cul-de-sac, highway and thoroughfare across the globe every single fucking day?
