Aussie zombies dont' die.
They just fade away...

I just remind people of this crap every time somebody complains about censorship in America.

Actually this can be circumvented by either changing one line in a config file or just having a friend from somewhere else gift you the game. Still, pretty horrible and considering games cost more in Australia than anywhere else it's almost not worth bothering.

Neat, I just blew a bloody hole in that guy's face with a shotgun!
...hey, wait a minute! That body isn't fading away! Its just lying there! Everyone knows its only okay to show violence, as long as you DON'T show the consequences. How dare they allow adults to expose themselves to this!
Violence without consequences is the Australian way of life, son!

Censorship is so incredibly retarded. It's rated "mature" (or equivalent) for a reason.

Didn't the British genetic cesspool send its puritans here and criminals there? How did it come to this?
|Michael Houser - 2009-11-24 |
On the other hand, I bet their frame-rates are fantastic.

Maybe these zombies are only a product of our minds, and the hallucinations are a result of the infection we think turned everyone into zombies.

They're not dead, they're off to see the wizard of Oz.

What was the last good thing that australia gave to the world? All i can think of is Mad Max 2.
|FABIO - 2009-11-24 |
It's honestly not as bad as I was expecting. At least there's SOME blood.

The editing and IGN logo really ruin this.

Oh wow, this is the music I hear during all first person shooters!

Hey Chet, if you happen to see this, I have a question about the IGN review of this.
"It appears that EA was more concerned with getting the game on store shelves on time than it was with the finished product. Changes this drastic simply weren't necessary to get this game classified...."
That's a typo, right? I really hope EA has nothing to do with Valve.
From the Valve Corporation wikipedia article:
"Electronic Arts announced on July 18, 2005 they would be teaming up with Valve in a multi-year deal to distribute their games, replacing Vivendi Universal from then onwards."
EA is a lot better recently, it's Activision you need to boycott now.
